Aden Binyam, Homelessness Policy Fellow

Aden Binyam serves as the Homelessness Policy Fellow for Councilman Harris-Dawson. As a member of the legislative team, she focuses on homelessness policy, Proposition HHH housing developments, A Bridge Home and homeless outreach services in the district.

Prior to joining Councilmember Harris- Dawson’s office, Aden worked overseas in Accra, Ghana, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she focused on advancing access to basic education and created a Youth Development Agenda in the areas of public sector governance.

Aden received a B.A in both Political Science and Africana Studies at California State University Northridge as well as a Masters in International Relations from the University of Concordia Irvine. She is currently a board member of the Ethiopian Democratic Club.

Aden was born and raised in Mid-City Los Angeles. In her free time, Aden enjoys traveling and reading.
